What is ScrapJack?

ScrapJack is a fun 2D pixel platformer where you play as a little robot cleaning up the city of Renew-ville. Your job is to collect recyclable rubbish and avoid the stuff that isn’t, because picking up the wrong items adds time to your score. The faster you finish each level, the more stars you earn. With simple controls, upbeat 8-bit music, and colourful suburban levels, ScrapJack makes learning about recycling quick, easy, and fun for everyone.

Install instructions

Windows

Download the .zip file above and extract it. Open up the folder within it, and run the .exe file. If a warning appears with the title "Windows protected your PC", press "More info" and then run anyway.

MacOS

Download the .dmg file above and open it. Double-click the ScrapJack icon inside to run the game. If a warning appears on your screen saying "'ScrapJack' Not Opened", this is due to macOS protection features. To play the game, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to the bottom and find the text that says "'ScrapJack' was blocked to protect your Mac". Once you have found this, press "Open anyway" to play the game.
